Our special guest in this episode is Datin Dr Hasnorliza Abu Hassan (known as Datin Dr Leez Abu Hassan). She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ADLA Group Sdn Bhd, which provides training and coaching in the best entrepreneurial practices. She is also an author, speaker and mentor. She is a mom of five girls and one boy.

Datin Dr Leez shares what makes her started being an entrepreneur. Dr Leez tells us how entrepreneurship has helped her gained more time with her family.

Datin Dr Leez mentioned that she was not planned to embark on building a business but it was the desire to have control of her time that made her started her business.

Datin Dr Leez tells that entrepreneurialism gives her the flexibility of working, but also comes with a lot of challenges that we must be prepared for.

Datin Dr Leez tells us that there were big mindset blocks when she changed from being an employee working 9-5 to being her own boss.

Datin Dr Leez shares the main three challenges a lot of women entrepreneurs are facing which are:
1) Time management,
2) Stress management, and
3) Financial management.

Datin Dr Leez shares how as women entrepreneurs especially, we have to learn how to manage our emotions and struggles when there’s so much to do.
(10:36) – What to do when the excitement is gone, but the results that you wanted do not come yet.
Datin Dr Leez mentioned about the excitement in the beginning of entrepreneurship, but after a while it might be gone. Therefore always come back to the intention; why do we start building this business?
(14:13) – Dr Leez’s tips on how to stay balanced with work and life as a CEO of several businesses and a mom of 6. And her daily routine.
Datin Dr Leez, as an advocate of work-life balance, mentioned that there are no such thing as perfect balance in work and life. But having our priorities aligned and as guiding principle in our life is important.
